Ibis House
Location: at the Fadiya channel in Esba Al-Jorf.
The house is built in Nubian style in 2 floors. The ground
floor contains reception hall with dining area, kitchen,
bathroom, 2 bedrooms and steps to the next floor and the
partly sheltered roof terrace. The domed ceilings help
cooling the house in the summer time, but all rooms have
fans.
The house is built in very good materials and all the floors
have beautiful tiles. The bath rooms with bath tub and
shower have tiles on floor and walls. The kitchen has a gas
stove, a big refrigerator, freezer and a washing machine,
pots and pans and what else you need for cooking. The
reception hall has a sofa, a dining table with 6 chairs and
satellite TV. The sitting room has sofa and armchairs. 2
bedrooms have a queen-size bed, and 2 bedrooms have a single
bed, all bedrooms have wardrobes.
The second floor has a sitting room, bathroom and 2
bedrooms.
The terrace has tiles on the floor and is furnished with
benches.
The garage is 18 m² and has tiles
on the floor, thus it can be used for other purposes
instead.
The house is situated on the "West Bank" of Luxor, where you
also find most of the archaeological monuments (Valley of
the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, and Colossi of Memnon), an
ideal starting place for excursions, desert Safari and trips
by feet, bicycle and horse.
The house is close to Lagalta village. Thus, you stay with the
real Egyptians, taking part in their daily lives. Very close
by you have shops with your everyday needs. There are always
fresh fruit and vegetables on offer, and several coffee
houses, as well as a restaurant, are within close walking
distance, and you also have service cars at a close
distance.
